LATSOL is a digital social impact company that will directly address the lack of title for low-income rural South Africans including mid to high income groups. Our process will provide administration services to secure title deeds. i.e. freehold and 99-year leases.
This will result in equal opportunities for all, including the poor, who do not have access to finance.
Without such title, poverty will continue to increase.
What is a Title Deed
A title Deed is an authorised certificate of ownership or leasehold of a piece of land or property which is an asset.
Land is an asset just like a house or a car. As the owner of that asset you need a certificate that tells the world that you own that piece of land.
That ownership certificate is called a Title Deed.
The Benefits of Title
Security of Tenure
It provides the owner/leaseholder with legal protection against theft of the property or eviction from the property by any person or authority
Collateral
A title deed can be used as collateral to access bank finance or personal loans taken to e.g. start your own business or pay your child’s school fee’s etc.
Inheritance
It can be used to pass on ownership of your property to your children as inheritance
Investment
Property Value increases in time and can be sold at a profit and make additional property investments
Our Services
Low-income Rural Clients
We initiate and source South Africans of the low, middle and high-income groups to get title deed administration and meet affordability criteria to pay debt to the bank especially in rural areas. Medium to High income clients will benefit from competitive prices.
Administration
We facilitate the preparation of all the legal aspects of the title deed and submission of the application to the deeds office
Restitution
There are people who are entitled to have their land/property returned to them under the restitution legislation. LATSOL will facilitate that process.
Beneficiary Education
We also facilitate title and property digital literacy.
